Navigator is geared to enable Exergy clients to rapidly configure and deploy insurance products over the web themselves. Products can be created easily by either changing existing product rules and behaviour, or creating new products derived from existing ones.
Products can be built from scratch. Navigator allows customisation in various areas such as Contract Rules, Component Rules, Claims, Reassurance, Underwriting and Requirements, Rate Tables, Commission amount calculations and Investment Funds. It is a web based application and can be accessed from anywhere on the local area network as well as through a Virtual Private Network (VPN).Navigator is installed on a central web-server and can be easily maintained. Different users can log in at the same time and work on different databases. It also has the benefit of enabling SDT support personnel to quickly investigate Exergy configuration through the internet via VPN without waiting for a database backup.
